Mobile Intercept Surveys Conducted at NHL All-Star Game
PDA intercept surveys were conducted with game attendees at the 2007 NHL All-Star game held at the American Airlines Center. The survey sought to quantify the economic impact that hosting the All-Star game had on the economy of Dallas and the surrounding area. Non-Dallas residents were asked several questions pertaining to the length of their stay in the area as well as their spending levels on numerous categories including lodging, dining, transportation, retail and other related groups. The collected data was ultimately utilized to partially quantify the amount of economic impact generated in the local economy by hosting the high-profile event.
