4/15/2006 - American Airlines Center Conducts Economic Impact Surveys
The AAC recently conducted mobile PDA surveys of event attendees to gauge the economic impact that specific events held at the arena have on the local economy. Surveys were conducted at the Phillip's 66 Big 12 Men's Basketball Championship, the NCAA Division I Men's Basketball Tournament and select Mavericks and Stars home games. In total, 1,350 surveys were completed providing the AAC with real-time, quantitative data to estimate the economic impact that high-level tournaments as well as their anchor tenants provide to the local economy.
